Services
Let the Magnalytix team of experts give you the support you need for your manufacturing process. We offer a wide range of testing services that will provide the Objective Evidence you need to achieve the best possible results.
Core Offerings
SIR Testing on MGX Test Boards
The Surface Insulation Resistance (SIR) test method has been deemed the most effective when determining the cleanliness and reliability of electronic assemblies.
IPC B-52 SIR Testing
The IPC-B-52 standard test assembly contains both surface mount and through-hole technologies. The B-52 test board has test patterns adjacent to, and beneath several components. The B-52 test board may be used for Material and Process Characterization and Qualification.
Functional SIR Testing
Testing both Functional and SIR Circuits allows for the process to be qualified to assess acceptable levels of flux and process residues. Functional-SIR testing using the Umpire 41 test system is representative of actual production assembly.
Custom Board Design
Our Engineers can help you create custom test cards designed to meet your specific production and testing requirements.
Additional Services
IC Testing
Ion Chromatography (IC) Testing pinpoints ionic contaminants on electronic assemblies and bare boards to prevent electrochemical failures and ensure reliability.
C3 Testing
Critical Cleanliness Control (C3) Testing provides analysis on site-specific extraction samples to detect process residues on localized areas or components on electronic assemblies.
Keyence Analysis
Keyence Analysis evaluates boards by detecting surface defects and contamination with high-precision imaging and measurement tools.
SEM
Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) provides high-resolution images to detect and identify microscopic contamination on boards. It reveals particles, residue, or defects with precision.
X-Ray Inspection
X-Ray Inspection reveals internal defects, residues, or foreign particles. This method provides a non-destructive way to examine hidden contamination without damaging the board.
